About Our House

Rowan House is located close to the town of Camberley. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the town centre and 12 minutes to walk to Camberley Train station which has easy access to London and many other local attractions

There is a large front drive with space for a number of vehicles.

The house has 6 bedrooms that all look on to our beautiful garden. These vary in theme and facilities, from large single rooms to twin  rooms (for brothers or sisters).  Each room is well equipped with wardrobes, central heating, writing desk, free internet & e-mail access (see Services page)

The house is equipped with 3 bathrooms, a large lounge and an entertainment   room with a piano, an electric organ and 2 TVs.  There is also a large sunny conservatory where guests are welcome to study or relax after a hard day at school!

We have a beautiful, garden with a variety of plants and fruits, which we take care of throughout the year (any botanists will be more than welcome to lend a hand). We often have our meals in the garden - British weather permitting.

The house is secure, with electric gates at the entrance and a good quality alarm system.

We maintain a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the house. We like you to feel at home and that you are part of our family. We also allow you all the privacy you wish.

We have guests staying from all round the world. Consequently, there are a number of languages spoken at Rowan House, including: English, French, German, Japanese and Korean - so communication is unlikely to present a problem.  Foreign students are encouraged to speak English most of the time to enhance their understanding and assist with their studies.
